One of the few bright spots through 12 games who finished with 65 tackles, including five for-loss (-28 yds) and three sacks (-25), had one interception, broke-up two passes, defended three, with four quarterback-hurries and two forced fumbles.
Turned in a superior 2007 spring leading the winning White squad in the spring game with six tackles, two for loss and broke-up a pass.
2006
Tallied 36 tackles (20 unassisted) in 13 games with one tackle-for-loss and one broken-up pass. Had four tackles in his first career start against Illinois State and followed with eight more starts.
Had four tackles for winning White squad in '06 spring game and was one of the players Prince referred to as having taken " ... a step forward."
2005
Rang-up 4.5 sacks and 16 tackles in the nine games he appeared in ... broke-up a pass, had two quarterback-hurries, forced a fumble and had a tackle for a safety.
High School
Three-year starter ... Grant won Metro Conference title in 2004 and finished 9-2 with Reggie contributing 113 tackles (21 for loss), six forced-fumbles and four fumble recoveries ... Earned first team Division I All-CIF Sac-Joaquin Section honors ... Named first team All-Metro by the Sacramento Bee ... First team All-Metro Conference selection and the league's defensive MVP. As a junior Reggie helped Grant to a 12-2 mark and the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I title with 144 tackles, seven sacks, and four forced fumbles, returned two fumbles for TDs ... Named first team All-Metro Conference. Was also an all-conference selection in rugby.
