Rushed for 1,446 yards and 20 touchdowns, while passing for 700 yards and four scores in 2007 as the Buffaloes' starting quarterback, set a school-record 361 yards rushing with four touchdowns in a 42-28 win over Dodge City ... First team Class 6A All-State honors from the Kansas Football Coaches Association, Wichita Eagle and Topeka Capital-Journal ... Second-team Top 11 (all classes) pick by the Capital-Journal ... 2007 Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Earned all-state honors as a defensive back in 2006. An honorable mention all-league selection as a sophomore. Also earned all-state accolades in basketball in 2006.
