Played in all 13 games and started the last four ... finished season with 35 total tackles (21 solo), 2.5 tackles-for-loss, one interception and broke-up five passes (a tie for second-highest on team). Best game came against KU when he had five stops and an interception.

High School

First team all Broward County by the Miami Herald as a senior, helping the Ely to an 8-3 record and a berth in the quarterfinals of the state 6A playoffs ... All-Southeast Region pick by PrepStar. Had 60 tackles and 10 interceptions as a junior, the second most in Broward County and was named the team's most valuable player on their way to a berth in the semifinals of the 6A state playoffs. Also returned kicks.
