A three-year starter ... had 112 tackles including 16 sacks as a senior ... 82 total tackles and four sacks as a junior. Position coach was former Wildcat Mario Smith. First team Class 3A all-state selection at defensive end as a senior by the Florida Sports Writers Association ... considered one of the top 50 prospects in Miami-Dade County's class of 2004 by the Miami Herald. Also competed in track and field, twice qualifying for the state meet in the discus and earning all-state accolades.
