St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro team in 2005 and 2006. A four-star prospect ranked as the No. 4 athlete and No. 71 overall prospect nationally by Rivals. PrepStar All-American and rated the No. 35 overall player in the Midlands Region by SuperPrep. Saw playing time at wide receiver, running back and defensive back his senior season ending with 584 yards on 92 carries, three catches for 51 yards, and five kickoff returns for 165 yards, which accounted for 44 percent of team’s total yards (800 of 1,814) ... Scored 13 of West’s 20 touchdowns ... Totaled 42 tackles (36 solos), three blocked field goals, two blocked punts and a fumble recovery. Played in the prestigious East Meets West All-American Bowl in Orlando, Florida, following his senior season. Rushed for 1,249 yards and 21 TDs during his junior campaign, while hauling in six receptions for 103 yards, and had 55 tackles, three interceptions and a fumble recovery. Lettered in track & field and qualified for the 2006 Missouri State Track Meet in the long jump, 4x100, and 4x200.
