Played two seasons at Santa Monica Junior College, receiving honorable mention All-America honors from JC Gridwire in 2006 for a team that went just 3-7 ... Was also a first team All-Western State’s Conference selection ... Tied for fourth on the team with 33 total tackles during 2006, with seven tackles-for-loss, including 3.0 sacks, added two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and an 80-yard fumble return for a touchdown.

Played just one season of high school football at the Friends School in Virginia Beach after emigrating to the U.S. from Nigeria ... Earned the nickname “The Nigerian Nightmare” as a prep after quickly adjusting to the American game.
